About the Tour
We are very pleased to offer our inaugural tour of Turkey’s ruggedly beautiful east: from Trabzon on the Black Sea coast through forested mountains to magnificent Seljuk cities; to the frontier sites of Kars and Ani; legendary Mt Ararat; Van with its stunningly blue, deep, salt lake; imposing mountain passes and the mighty Euphrates and Tigris Rivers; the awe-inspiring colossal stone statues at Nemrut Dagi down to ancient Harran bee-hive houses. What an adventure!

 About the tour
Situated at the tip of northern Africa with the Atlantic Ocean to the west and sub-Saharan Africa to the south, Morocco is a very diverse country. Long sandy beaches on the coast give way to the wild and rugged Atlas Mountains of the interior.
A land of colourful Berber tribes with Arab and French influences provides a fascinating cultural mix. Wonderful palaces, souks and bazaars along with a rich architectural heritage make a visit to Morocco a feast for the senses.

Type of touring: Long distance coach travel and modern four wheel drive vehicles.
Type of accommodation: Good quality 3 and 4 star hotels, 2 simple auberges, three nights in village house, Amassine.
Fitness level required: This tour is on the adventurous side. Ten days involve travel in four wheel drive vehicles, much of it in the Atlas Mountains up to 2800metres. Three nights we spend in basic accommodation belonging to the Ait Khozema project at Amassine in the Atlas Mountains. Two nights in simple auberges. The rest of the nights are spent in good quality hotels.
